¡Hola and Welcome!
I'm a bilingual, New York based licensed psychotherapist specializing in working with emerging adults of color from the LGBTQ+ community, as well as individuals facing challenges like anxiety, people-pleasing, relationship difficulties, coming out, and navigating life transitions.

About Me:
My decision to become a psychotherapist was deeply influenced by my own experience in a warm, supportive space. Growing up in two cultures where discussing emotions was frowned upon, I found it difficult to open up and face my challenges.
Therapy is often stigmatized, which can prevent people from seeking the help they need. However, everyone can benefit from a supportive space to untangle their thoughts and emotions, feel heard, and gain validation.
My own therapeutic journey highlighted the importance of having a safe, nonjudgmental space to work through the inner turmoil we all experience. This experience inspired me to offer the same kind of support to others facing similar struggles.
My Approach:
I draw from an integrative approach, combining Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), attachment-based therapy, and a person-centered perspective to meet each client's unique needs.
Our early relationships shape how we connect with others and how we view ourselves and the world. By challenging ourselves to consider different perspectives, we can gain a deeper understanding of situations and, with consistent practice, cultivate more adaptive and intentional behaviors in addition to the strengths we already hold.
My goal is to empower clients to actively engage in their emotional journey. I believe clients are the experts of their own lives, and my role is to support them in making decisions that align with their goals and values.
